Election Fever in Maguindanao started:

Mastura declared his gubernatorial-seat against Mangudadatu today

COTABATO CITY - Mayor Tocao Mastura of Sultan Kudarat municipality declared his candidacy after he got more than 80% survey in 36 municipalities of the province indorsing him an official candidate of PDP-Laban – United Nationalists Alliance coalition or UNA as governor candidate of Maguindanao with Ali Midtimbang as his Vice Governor.


Mastura said that he decided to run this coming election against the incumbent governor  Esmael “toto” Mangudadatu because he wants change the political atmosphere of the province thru spiritual awakening. “I am optimistic to win this coming election because there are some people coming from different municipalities, religious groups, clans, ustads, datus and sultanate endorsing my candidacy,” Mastura said during interview.

Mastura assures people of his visions and missions to the province by changing the political atmosphere by making a Tuwid Na Daan of the president be a tuwid thru his spiritual awakening, he wants to uplift the people living by inviting some investors and visitors to do business in Maguindanao. He also supports the ongoing peace process of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and the government, making more projects like infrastructure and others.

Overview:
Mayor Tocao Mastura is the father of Vice-governor Dustin Mastura under the ticket of Governor Esmael “toto” Mangudadatu  in Maguindanao and he is the Godfather of success of their winning the 2010 election after the controversy of Maguindanao massacre where 57 – brutally died, and 32 of them are journalists from different entities when Gov.
