Tabak Commander honored Chief Executives for supporting IPSP BAYANIHAN


LABANGAN, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR – The Army’s Premier (Tabak) Division Commander Major General Ricardo Rainier G. Cruz III honored Lanao del Norte Chief Executive Governor Mohammad Khalid Q. Dimaporo for supporting the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ Internal Peace Security Plan (IPSP) “Bayanihan”, the Command tendered a Testimonial Parade and Review at the Division grandstand last Friday afternoon of October 5, 2012.

The Tabak commander gratefully recognized the Chief Executive their invaluable contributions, assistance and support through good governance in the maintenance of peace and order in the area of responsibility.

A Testimonial Parade and review is one of the old cherished traditions in the military service intended to publicly recognize the good deeds of the honoree. The said activity will be done during the regular Friday flag retreat ceremony of the Tabak troopers and civilian employees.

Prior to the parade, an information brief at the Division conference room will be presented to the honoree to apprise him of the Command’s plans and programs at his jurisdictional area.  

Recently, Zamboanga del Norte Governor Hon. Rolando E. Yebes and Hon. Rommel A. Jalosjos, Governor of Zamboanga Sibugay Province were both honored by the Command for the same recognition.

Meanwhile, 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division, Philippine Army Commander Maj. General Cruz III said that in good governance, relevant peace and security issues will be properly addressed and; hence, development may be achieved. “Hon.Dimaporo is one of the indispensable stakeholders in our campaign to win the peace in Lanao del Norte through our IPSP Bayanihan.” MGen. Cruz disclosed.
