KUTA SANG-AN, LABANGAN, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR – To help the government’s struggle in providing food and clothing to the victims of the typhoon Pablo in Compostela Valley Province, the Army’s premier Infantry Division under the leadership of Maj. General Ricardo Rainier G. Cruz III delivered three truck loads of relief goods food and clothing from its headquarters in Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur to Compostela Valley Friday morning, December 14, 2012.

 

Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations, G7 Lt. Col. Randolf M. Sino Cruz said that the relief goods were consolidated from line units and various stakeholders within the Division area of responsibility to help the needy typhoon victims.

 “We hope that this assistance we have provided would ease the suffering of the survivors. This is a support from our troops to our kababayan’s, a long time effort of the Army in serving the Filipino people” MGen. Cruz said.
