Suspected leader of kidnapping Salug town Mayor nab in Sibugay

IPIL, ZAMBO.SIBUGAY – A notorious leader of Kidnap for Ransom Group (KFR) who is responsible of kidnapping Mayor Jeffrey Lim of Salug, Zamboanga del Norte was nabbed by Joint government operatives of Naval Intelligence and Security Group, 102nd Infantry Brigade and Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office after a successful joint law enforcement operations conducted against the latter at Pasalubong Center, Poblacion Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay Province around 12 noon on August 7, 2013.

a Joint government operatives of Naval Intelligence and Security Group, 102nd Infantry Brigade and Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office nabbed a member of notorious Kidnap for Ransom Group after a successful joint law enforcement operations conducted against the latter at Pasalubong Center, Poblacion Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay Province around 12 noon on August 7, 2013.

44th Infantry Battalion Commander4 Lt. Col Yegor Rey P Baraquillo Jr. identified the suspect as Sehar Muloc aka Red Eye. He is a notorious head of the kidnap-for-Ransom group operating in the provinces of Zamboanga del Norte and Zamboanga Sibugay.

He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest under Criminal Case Nr IM-13-0573. Aside from Mayor Lim, Muloc was also implicated on the crime of kidnapping and serious illegal detention of Reynaldo Drapeza of Bulawan, Joel Indino Jr of Guiwan sall of Payao town; Randelle Talania of Brgy Namnama, Titay all of Zamboanga Sibugay.

The suspect was brought at Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office for interrogation for possible apprehension of his cohorts.

Meanwhile, 102nd Infantry Brigade commander Col Ignacio A Obligacion based in Brgy Sanito, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay Province, commended his troops for their timely action that leads to the apprehension of Muloc. “The apprehension of Muloc will open the door for their victims to achieved justice. Soon, his cohorts will also be apprehended and we will end their criminal acts. We will also acknowledge our people for giving timely information that is vital in the success of the operation,” Col Obligacion disclosed.
