New Year’s revelry in Pagadian City and ZamboSur generally peaceful

PAGADIAN CITY, ZAMBOSUR (Frontline News Jan. 1, 2014) – The New Year’s revelry celebration in Pagadian City and Zamboanga del Sur is generally peaceful, Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office Director SSupt. Sofronio Ecaldre said.

Except in Pagadian City with four reported firecracker-related incidents, Ecaldre noted that the victims only suffered minor injuries and were brought immediately to the nearby hospital

“I am very much thankful that no one was reported hurt by a stray bullet, it means no violation of indiscriminate firing which is the most important. So, I am very much happy that our New Year’s revelry celebration is successful with no casualty,” SSupt. Ecaldre happy said.

Thousands of people witnesses the successful New Year’s revelry Celebration sponsored by LGU Pagadian with Musical Fireworks and Dancing Fountain display at the City Plaza Luz.

The Dancing Fountain in Pagadian is one of the local tourists attraction is nightly shown before the start of nightly variety shows since the opening and lighting of Christmas symbols on December 8 and will end on January 3 this year.
