Medical and Dental outreach benefited 2,000 people in Dapitan City




PAGADIAN CITY, ZAMBO DEL SUR (May 2, 2014 MPF NEWS) – At least 2,000 people benefited the Medical, Dental mission and Operation Tuli conducted in Barangay Ilaya in Dapitan City not because of Labor Day celebration but because of the 67th Birthday of Mayor Rosalina “Nene” G. Jalosjos yesterday May 1.

Dapaitan City Tourism Officer Apple Marie Agolong said, Mayor Nene Jalosjos decided to celebrate her birthday to Barangay Ilaya with the medical team from the City Health and some doctors and medical team who volunteers for the City Mayor’s Medical, Dental outreach mission and Operation Tuli as her service and gratitude to the people during 112th Labor Day and 67th Birthday celebration.


Agolong said Mayor Jalosjos during her lunch with the people in the barangay also expressed her gratitude to the people for their continuous supports and unity in the city government programs especially in the establishment of the City’s Tourism Industry making Dapaitan City in the map as one of the most tourists’ destination in the country.


Mayor Jalosjos also recognized the people’s efforts of contribution towards the economic condition of the city government through the tourism program, Agolong said.

The City Tourism Officer said that the City Mayor cited the cleanliness around the city and the peace and order condition contributed a lot in the tourism industry program of the city government because of the people’s support.  

She said, a simple program was conducted with some entertainments like different dances presented by the youth organization during the birthday celebration while the medical mission was conducted at the same time at the Barangay Covered Court.

She said Major Jalosjos also distributed some souvenir gift items to the people as token to their support to the government program.
