100 Youths Joins Photo Journalism Workshop to Monitor Election Offense in Dapitan City


 
DAPITAN CITY, Zamboanga del Norte (May 3, 2016) – A total of 100 youth volunteers had finished the 2 days photo journalism workshop seminar held yesterday and today May 2 and 3, 2016 facilitated by the Junior Chamber International Philippines (JCI PH) Officers Dapitan City Chapter at Dakak Park and Beach Resort in Dapitan City.

JCI PH Officer Karl Obordo said the participants are the youth volunteers from the 50 barangays of this city to join Civil Society Organization (CSO) in monitoring the conduct of the 2016 synchronized Local and National Election as watchdog in order to have clean, honest and credible election through photo journalism.





Obordo disclosed that their photos will be immediately reported for proper documentation and legal action against those person who get caught doing election offense.

The Photo Journalism Workshop was successfully done in coordination with some photo journalist headed by Ritchel Umel.
