City Tourism holds Santa Cruzan 2016 in Dapitan City

DAPITAN CITY, Zamboanga del Norte (June 1, 2016)—The City Tourism Office of this City together with the Catholic devotees successfully conducted the Santa Cruzan 2016 Tuesday night.

City Tourism Officer Apple Marie Agolong said that the holding Santa Cruzan activities is part of Dapitan City's Celebration of Heritage Month. Santa Cruzan is featuring 15 Sagalas and 1 Reyna Elena to be participated from the different barangay of this city.

For this year crowned as Santa Cruzan Reyna Elena is Laureen G. Cereño from barangay Linabok while the 1^st runner up is Saint Thea E. Acaylar and 2^nd Runner up is May Angelica C. Hamoy.

Agolong also said Santa Cruzan is now on its 3^rd year after it was revived by the City Tourism Office. Symbolized the religious tradition culture of Dapitanon that will promote tourism.
