Government troops killed three (3) more Abu Sayyafs wounded in Sulu offensives

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (September 29, 2016)- Three more members of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) were reportedly wounded in the ensuing offensives launched by the Joint Task Force Sulu in Southern Philippines Wednesday morning, military official said.

Western Mindanao Command (WesMinCom) Information Officer Major Filemon Tan Jr. disclosed that another armed confrontation ensued between the troops of the 10^th Infantry Battalion and the ASG led by Misaya in Barangay Pugad Manaul, Panamao, Sulu at 9:05am.

Major Tan said, as a result, the ASG incurred three (3) wounded members, while no casualty was reported on the government side.
