PRO9 celebrated 24th PNP Ethics Day

ZAMBOANGA CITY (January 15, 2018) - The Regional Director of Police Regional Office (PRO) 9 Police Chief Superintendent Billy B Beltran led the men and women of PRO9 in celebrating the 24th PNP Ethics Day with the theme: "Serbisyong Tapat at Makatotohanan para sa Pagbabago ng Bayan” held at the PRO9 Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp Col. Romeo A Abendan, Mercedes, Zamboanga City on Monday January 15, 2018, official said.
         
ZCPO-PRO9 information officer PCInsp Helen L Galvez said that the occasion was coincided with the traditional Monday flag-raising ceremony with Director Alvin R Araneta, Officer In-Charge of Civil Service Commission, Regional Office 9 who graced the occasion as Guest of Honor and Speaker.
         
Director Alvin R Araneta, in his message, he encouraged the men and women of PRO9 to internalize and put into action the theme of the 24th PNP Ethics Day, "Serbisyong Tapat at Makatotohanan para sa Pagbabago ng Bayan”. Likewise, he urged the PRO9 personnel to religiously adhere to the ethical doctrine of the organization and put emphasis on the true meaning of public service where a public servant should exercise their solemn duty to give the people the best possible service and serve the people with utmost dedication with honesty and loyalty.
         



The PNP Ethics Day is an annual celebration to constantly remind and reinforce the adherence of PNP personnel on the PNP Ethical Doctrine which contains the moral values, disciplined, professional and morally upright policemen.
