Top 1 most wanted person arrested in Malangas

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (April 11, 2018) - PNP elements of Malangas Municipal Police Station (MPS), Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office conducted law enforcement operation through the service of warrant of arrest Tuesday 11:30 am at Barangay Poblacion, Malangas in the neighboring province Zamboanga Sibugay, PNP Official disclosed.

Police Regional Office 9 (PRO9) PIO Chief Police Chief Inspector Helen Galvez said the operation resulted in the successful arrest of Aratok Pangilan Abbas, 35 years old, married, jobless, a resident of Barangay Sinusayan, Malangas and listed as Top 1 Most Wanted Person in Malangas MPS.

Chief Inspector Galvez also said the Warrant of Arrest against the said was issued by Hon. Rolando L Goan, Acting Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court of 9th Judicial Region, Branch 20, Pagadian City for the crime of Robbery with Homicide under criminal case number 35478-2k dated June 29, 2001 with no bail bond recommended. Subject person remains under custody of Malangas MPS for proper disposition.

Because of the said accomplishment PRO 9 Regional Director of Chief Superintendent Billy B. Beltran commended the operatives of Malangas MPS under the command of Senior Inspector Joven Bognot De Guzman Jr. for a job well done.
