Gun For Hire Personality Killed in Law Enforcement Operation at Kalawit, Zamboanga Del Norte




ZAMBOANGA CITY (Aug. 3, 2018) – The PNP Personnel of 901st Maneuver Company of RMFB9, Provincial Intelligence Branch of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO and Kalawit MPS conducted law enforcement operation through the service of search warrant at Barangay.Poblacion Kalawit, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 12:45am of August 2, 2018, Police Official said.
  
Police Regional Office 9 PIO Chief PCINSP Helen L. Gaovez disclosed that the successful operation was led to the neutralization of the suspect identified as Marvin Tarang Tapsin aka “Abdhuraman, 48 years old, male, married farmer and resident of above-mentioned place, who was killed during the said serving of search warrant.

PINSP Galvez said that immediately after the service of Search Warrant, PNP personnel from Kalawit MPS proceeded to place of incident and conducted crime scene processing and investigation still in the presence of Barangay Captain George Lugsanay and Barangay Councilor Romeo Untalan.

Galvez added that during the said crime scene processing subject person was lying and beside him was one unit of Caliber .45 Pistol, Colt, with serial no. 356280, 1911 model with one unit standard magazine and five live ammunition for Cal.45 and one unit of Hand Grenade.

Galvez also said that in the initial Investigation conducted and disclosed that at around 1:30 o’ clock in the morning of August 2, 2018, the 901st Maneuver Company, RMFB9 personnel served a Search Warrant issued by Presiding Judge Hon. Kathia C. Adasa-Santiago of 7th MCTC, Liloy-Tampilisan of 9th Judicial Region, Liloy, ZaNorte. The case is for Violation of Illegal Possession of firearms and ammunitions or (Viol. Of Sec. 28, R.A. 10591) issued on August 1, 2018 at Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines.

Further Investigation conducted and disclosed that after the team introduced their selves and gave noticed for the purposed of searching, the subject person refused to open the door that prompted the team to break into the said door. The subject fired his firearm towards the searching team which prompted them to retaliate that resulted the subject person pinning down and sustaining one gunshot wound in his chest and one in his abdomen, Galvez said..

Meanwhile, at around 4:30am Dr. Earl Ryan Espra, MD, PHD of Kalawit Municipal Rural Health Unit conducted Medico Legal examination and declared the subject person dead.



After the Crime Scene Processing and Investigation the dead body was properly turned-over to his immediate family. All gathered evidences were turned over to Kalawit MPS for safekeeping and for future references. (By JONG CADION)
