PRO-9 Performing Cops Recognized

PAGADIAN CITY (Oct. 4, 2018) -  The Police Regional Office 9 (PRO-9) awarded Twenty Cops assigned from the different police units in Police Regional Office 9 (PRO-9) for their laudable operational accomplishment during the Monday Flag-raising ceremony held at PRO-9 Parade Ground, Camp Col Romeo A Abendan, Mercedes, Zamboanga City on October 1, 2018.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, Regional Director of PRO-9 assisted by the Command Group personally pinned down the prestigious PNP Merit Medal “Medalya ng Kagalingan to the performing Twenty uniformed personnel.

Awarded the Medalya Ng Kagalingan (PNP Merit Medal) were the PNP personnel of the 902nd Maneuvering Company of RMFB-9 headed by

PCINSP Nijam Salim,

PO2 Roy Ian Navales,

PO1 William Rabago, P

O1 Eric Tormes and

PO1 Jaypee Magdasal.

They were recognized for the arrest of Diamaludin Panadigan, criminal gang member under notorious Anwar Ansang Group at Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur on September 7, 2018 for the crime of murder (4 counts).

Subject was engaged in narcotics trafficking, robbery extortion and gun for hire activities. He was the suspect in the shooting of 2nd Lt. Joseph Cartajena and his companions last November 21, 2016.

PO1 Reyzalde Malayo, were cited for the arrest of Top 1 Most wanted in Katipunan MPS identified as Jehlon Ando during manhunt operation at Batangas City on June 22, 2018.

On the other hand,

SPO3 Manuel Montilla,

SPO3 Astrobal Allado,

SPO2 Jose Alguno and

PO3 Rex Pancho, all from Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU-9) were cited for the facilitation of surrendered Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) identified as Arben Garcia, member of CTG under main regular guerilla unit (mrgu), Western Mindanao Revolutionary Committee (WMRPC) on August 17, 2018 at Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte.

Meanwhile, PINSP Louis Arquiza, SPO2 Nelson Dansal, PO3 Mark Dave Olivenza, PO1 Reyden Tiamson and PO1 Dwight Alta, all from Zamboanga Del Sur Police Office were cited for the arrest of Taragtingan Tumilaw, Top 8 High value target drug personality and criminal gang member under Andi/Montaser group during drug operation at Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur on September 5, 2018.
