3 Suspects of rape and killing of 14-year old girl were killed in law enforcement and illegal-drug buy-bust operation in Lala town, Lanao del Norte

PAGADIAN CITY (March 19, 2019) – Three suspects of rape and killing the 14-year old girl were killed during the conduct of Law Enforcement and illegal-drugs buy-bust operation in Barangay Simpak, in the municipality of Lala in the neighboring province of Lanao del Norte at about 3:am on March 19, 2019.

Lala Municipal Police Station Chief PCI Jonan B. Bañas disclosed that the joint operation was conducted by Provincial Intelligence Branch of Police Provincial Office of Lanao del Norte, CIDG, PDEA and 2^nd PNP Provincial Mobile Force Company serving a Warrant of Arrest against the two suspects while buy-bust operation against another suspect at Purok 3 and Purok 6 in Barangay Simpak in Lala town in the said province.

 PCI Bañas identified the two suspects in the Warrant of Arrest as Arnel Albarado 47 years old, separated and Rodante Albarado, 38 years old both brothers and a residents of Purok 3 while the other suspect identified in PDEA drug watchlist as Vinson Dela Cerna 42 anyos Purok 6.

The three suspects were resisting arrest during the conduct of operations that force the operating troops to fired back to neutralized them, they were brought to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician, Bañas explained.

The operating team recovered from the crime scene several empty shells and pne cal. 38 revolver while recovered from the from Arnel and Rodante some plastic sachet with while-crystalline or shabu from the body search of the suspects at the hospital morgue. 

Bañas added that the three suspects were positively identified as the primary suspects of rape and killing of 14-year-old girl last February of this year. The rape victim identified as Christine Fe Rosario, the cadaver of the victim was chop-chop and recovered buried in the said barangay. (With reports and photos from Mikel Navarro)
