1 Died, 8 Injured in Vehicular accident

ZAMBOANGA CITY (April 10, 2019) – One person died while eight others were injured in Vehicular accident transpired at about 10:13 AM of April 7, 2019 at Brgy. Victoria Zamboanga City.

The accident was Involving:

one (1) unit Public Utility Vehicle (PUJ) bearing plate no. JVG 566 driven by Christopher Saavedra 36 years old, married, onboard passengers identified as the following:   

Marry Crista saavedra, 33 years old, married,

a 3 years old female minor named Kasia, both resident of Brgy Guiwan Zamboanga and 7 other persons who sustained slight injuries on different parts of their bodies, identified as:

Erolyn Francisco, 34 years old, single,

Rey Daguio, 19 years old, single,

Jamil Tan, 41 years old, single,

Dennis J. Pioquinto, 36 years old, single,

Jaymhar S. Pioquinto, 21 years old, single,

Herdy boy Villanueva, 27 years old, single and

Jerry C. Francisco, 49 years old, single, all resident of Brgy. Mampang Zamboanga City.

The other involved motorcycle was one (1) unit of Suzuki smash bearing plate no. 2893 JG, driven by Coycoy Anohada, 19 years old, single of Brgy. Victoria Zamboanga City.

Meanwhile, one of the injured/victim of the said vehicular accident identified as 3 years old minor named Kasia was declared dead on arrival at around 11:32 AM of same date by the attending physician (Dr. Cristian V. Yecyecan, MD) Zamboanga City Medical Center.

Further, all injured persons were brought to Mindanao Central Sanitarium (Pasobolong) for medical treatment.
