ISABELA
CITY, Basilan Province (April 22, 2019) –
One person was wounded in Shooting incident occurred at the high sea of Baluk-Baluk,
Hadji Muhtamad municipality, Basilan Province at about 3:30 AM of April 21,
2019.
The victim was identified as Berting
Patirani, 40 years old, married, fishermen and resident of Barangay Tampalan, Isabela
City.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that about 3:30 AM of same date, while the said victim together with
his family were on fishing at the sea of Baluk-Baluk, Hadji Muhtamad
municipality, Basilan Province when unidentified persons on board on motorized
vanca armed with unknown firearms suddenly shot towards the victim.
Victim sustained lone gunshot wound on
his left shoulder and was under medical treatment on the said hospital.
