Youth leaders organizes Barangay Youth activities

OROQUETA CITY, Misamis Occidental– The Leaders of the Kabataan in Region-10 hand in hand organizing the youth to empower them to be a Youth Building Nation in Barangay Taboksur, Oroqueta City, Misamis Occidental during their Fiesta Celebration May 2, 2014.

Barangay Taboksur Chairman Bobby Malindag said the activities were facilitated by the Kabataan Leaders in Region-10 headed by Executive Director of the Youth Growth Mindanao Organization Philippines Incorporation as well as Chairman of Pilipino United Party in the Philippines Charlito Abcede Trania, President of Youth Growth Mindanao Organization Philippines Incorporation Dave Lago, President of Music Lover Society in Lanao Del Norte Kaven Lee Salac Andi with his Co-founder Edgardo Abiol Jr, the Founding Chairman of the Katipunan ng Kabataang Kristiano (KKK) Vincent Paul Fernandez, President of the Oro Youth Chamber Ritchfield Densing and Advocator of HIV Aids in Cagayan de Oro City Erick Calam. 

Bargy. Chairman Malindag said, the main objectives of organizing these young ones is to empower them so they will be encouraged how to approach their life and to acquire knowledge to build our nation strong as the hope of our nations.

The Barangay chairman added that we wanted to make their life more meaningful and united in the campaign against the evil effect of illegal drugs through the conduct of drug symposium, prevention against early pregnancy and how they can help their barangay in a simple but meaningful way.

He said the search for Miss Teen 2014 was also conducted to highlight the event.
