The City Council in its regular session on Tuesday has declared, through a resolution, the five hardest hit barangays as under state of calamity.

Damada said the declaration of the City Council was based on the assessment conducted by his office.

He said they are currently listing the number of fishermen and seaweed farmers affected in preparation for the grant of financial assistance. (PNA)
