10-year old student abducted in Sulu

PAGADIAN CITY (Aug, 17, 2018) – A 10-year old child identified as Zaire Khan Pasil, student and a resident of Sheik Mustafa Subdivision, Upper San Raymundo, Jolo, Suluwas reportedly forcibly taken by individuals riding in tandem onboard three motorcycles along Latih-Jolo Road Thursday at 7:20am, Military Official said.

WesMinCom spokesperson LTC Gerry M. Besana disclosed that the Victim along with Aldasir Tallow, driver, and Fatima ZaimaPasil, 13 years old, were on their way to Notre Dame Elementary onboard an owner type jeep from their residence when the incident transpired.

Motive of the kidnapping is yet to be determined, while the joint Police and military are now conducted a hot pursuit operations against the suspects, LTC Besana said.

Regarding the US and Australian embassies warning about the potential kidnappings in Palawan in their travel advisories, LTC Besana said that They don’t know what are their bases of getting the conclusion.

Besana also said that as far as WesMinCom is concern the continues military and law enforcement operations against ASG group in Western Mindanao area particularly in Basilan and Sulu area the ASG has no chance to move outside their AOR, as a result, more ASG  nembers now getting surrendered and arrested.
