Drug Pusher Arrested, P700K Seized in Drug Bust at Barangay Mampang, Zamboanga City

PAGADIAN CITY (Aug.17, 2018) – The Drugs Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 2 (Curuan) conducted drug buy-bust operation at Phase 1, Alvarez Drive, Barangay Mampang, Zamboanga City at about 10:40 PM of August 15, 2018, police official said.

Police Senior Inspector Julius B Dao-An, Station Commander of Zamboanga City Police Station 2, identified the arrested suspect as Majir Ismail y Nadza, (Newly identified drug personality), 45 yrs. old, unemployed, elementary level, male, married of Phase 1, Alvarez Drive, Barangay Mampang, Zamboanga City.

The operating police confiscated from the suspect possession were one small size and two large size sachet of suspected shabu with estimated street value of Php700, 000.00 and five pieces of One hundred peso bills marked money.

The confiscated items were brought to Regional Crime Lab Office 9 for laboratory examination while subject is presently detained at the said police station for filing of appropriate charges in court. (By JONG CADION)
