2 Arrested, Several Firearms Seized in Zamboanga City Law Enforcement Operation

PAGADIAN CITY (Aug. 2018) - The Combined elements of 904th Mobile Company of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9, Zamboanga City Police Office Intel Unit, EOD RMFB9 and Phil Army Arrested two suspects during the conducted of law enforcement operation through the service of Search Warrant at Purok 6, Taluksangay, Zamboanga City at about 5:30am of August 15, 2018, Police Official said.

Police Regional Office 9 PIO Chief PCINSP Helen L. Galvez identified the arrested two person as Sagumbahar Sagumayan Akbar and Samandi Tutuh Imbas a resident of the said place and both with Warrant of Arrest for violation of RA 10591 issued by Gregorio V Dela Peña III, Executive Judge.

PCINSP Galvez disclosed that the operating troops recovered at the residence of Samandi Tutuh Imbas for search warrant no. 2018-189 are the following: 2 bottle of Coca Cola 1,000 ml containing ammonium nitrate, 1 caliber 45 pistol, 2 magazines of same caliber, 13 live ammos of same caliber and one red bag.

Also recovered at the residence of Sagumbahar Sagumayan Akbar for search warrant no. 2018-188 were the following: 1 M16 Armalite rifle elisco, 1 caliber 45 pistol armscor, 1 9mm pistol, 2 long and 1 short magazines of same caliber. 15 pieces 9mm live ammos and 7 pieces caliber 45 live ammos 75 pieces of caliber 5.56 live ammos , 1 rifle grenade and 1 black rifle bag, Galvez added.

She said that the arrested two person and confiscated items are now in the custody of Zamboanga City Police Office for proper disposition. (By JONG CADION)
