PAGADIAN CITY (Aug.16, 2018) - An estimated to Php800-thousand worth of suspected shabu was seized from the two suspects during theduring the conduct of illegal-drug buy bust operation carried out by Drugs Enforcement Unit of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 and Zamboanga City Police Office at Caburihan Drive, Barangay Canelar, Zamboanga City at about 5:45pm of August 14, 2018.
PSUPT Edilberto M Alvarez, Officer In-Charge of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 identified the arrested suspects as Ismael Jikiri y Hanapiya a.k.a. “Ismael”, 37 years old, male, married, unemployed, elementary level, and Omar Jikiri y Milan a.k.a. “Omar”, 22 years old, male, single, unemployed, elementary level, and both residents of Lungan-Gitung, Parang, Jolo, Sulu.
Supt Alvarez disclosed that the operating team confiscated from the suspect’s possession were one piece small size and three pieces large size sachet of suspected shabu with estimated street value of Php800,000.00 and five pieces of Php100.00 bill as marked money.
The confiscated items were brought to Regional Crime Lab Office 9 for laboratory examination while subjects are presently detained at Zamboanga City Police Station 11 for filing of appropriate charges in court, Supt Alvarez said.(By JONG CADION)
