8 Arrested, 2 Million Worth of Shabu Seized in Anti-Illegal Operation

PAGADIAN CITY – The Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) has intensified its campaign against illegal drugs as eight (8) drug suspects were arrested while more than two million worth of suspected shabu confiscated in a separate anti-illegal drug operation carried out by drugs enforcement unit of Zamboanga City Police Office at the different Barangays in Zamboanga City on May 29, 2019.

Police Brigadier General Froilan F Quidilla, Acting Regional Director of PRO9 identified the arrested drug suspects as: 
Rohel Samla Y Abdurahim, 31 years old, female, married, online shoppe dealer, of Porcentro, Guiwan, Zamboanga City; 
Merhana Almirante Y Nasser, 21 years old, female, single, student, of San Jose Gusu, Zamboanga City; 
Mayvin Bugal Hatang, 32 years old, male, married, of Guyabano Drive, Lower Calarian, Zamboanga City; 
Arshid Jimenez Sali, 22 years old, male, single, of Macrohon Drive Canelar Zamboanga City; 
Sahipa Jimlah y Abdurahim, 60 yrs. old, male, Van operator, of Brgy Lumbangan, Zamboanga City; 
Marlon Castro y Mauri, 29 years old male, of corporation drive, Canelar Moret, Zamboanga City; 
Abdusaboor Sangogot y Aguill, 40 years old, male, married, Security Guard and 
Allim Nur Omar y Anjirani, 24 years old, male, both of Sta. Barbara, Zamboanga City.

Rohel Samla and Merhana Almirante was arrested at about 4:00 PM, May 29, 2019 by Zamboanga City Police Station 6 led by Police Major Mark Anthony Karanain at Massachusetts Drive., Barangay San Jose, Zamboanga City.  

Confiscated from them were eight (8) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected “Shabu”, One (1) plastic package, one (1) sling bag grey, two (2) pieces bundle of boodle money topped with two (2) pieces of One thousand pesos bill (Php1000) marked money. Estimated value of recovered illegal drugs was amounting more or less One Million and Seven Hundred Thousand pesos (P1,700,000.00).

Abdusaboor Sangogot and Allim Nur Omar were arrested at about 5:20 AM, May 29, 2019 by Zamboanga City Police Station 7 led by Police Major Arlan Dalumpines at Sta. Barbara, Zamboanga City.  

Confiscated during the operation were: 
One (1) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline of suspected shabu (buy-bust), 
Three (3) heat sealed transparent sachet containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu (possession) and 
Two (2) One hundred peso (Php 100.00) bill marked money. Estimated street value of confiscated items is in the amount of Three Thousand peso (Php3,000.00).

Marlon Castro was arrested at about 4:00 PM, May 29, 2019 by Zamboanga City Police Station led by Police Major Ramon I Bautista at Atilano Compound, Canelar Moret, Zamboanga City.

Confiscated during the operation were: 
Three (3) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believe to be shabu with estimated value worth PHP 4,000.00 and 
Three (3) bills of 100 pesos as marked money.

Sahipa Jimlah was arrested at about 4:15 PM of May 29, 2019 by Drugs Enforcement Unit of Zamboanga City Police Office at Brgy Lumbangan, Zamboanga City.  

Confiscated from his possession were Four (4) sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of 350,000.00 pesos and 1000.00 pesos registered marked money.

Mayvin Bugal Hatang and Arshid Jimenez Sali were arrested at about 5:45 PM of May 29, 2019 by Zamboanga City Police Station 4 led by Police Major Hazel Fernandez at Zone 3 Interior, Brgy. Tumaga, Zamboanga City.  

Recovered from them were:
One (1) color black coin purse containing inside One (1) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet suspected to be shabu and control the one (1) piece five hundred peso bill marked money. Total amount of the confiscated drug items is Php2,000.00. 


Police Brigadier General Froilan F Quidilla commended the operating police units of Zamboanga City Police Office under its City Director Police Colonel Thomas Joseph Martir for a job well done.
