They said his group being the watcher of Pangutaran mayoralty candidate Salam Asta went to the area to prepare for the conduct of elections but instead before reaching the polling precinct they were asked by the armed group to discuss some matters and later to go back and not to proceed and do their task but instead offer some amount of money.

“Nasser told us to go back or accept the money for them to pity their family if they insist in doing their task”. Heated arguments then occurred which the group of watchers took videos for documentation but the armed group took the cellphone and break it but other watchers managed to take pictures of the incident.

The group then proceeded to the police station purposely to make a police blotter with regards to the incident.

Later the group went back to the police station to ask for the extract of the police blotter which Dela Vega told them that police investigator Darwin Sarihani won’t sign the police blotter with no apparent reasons and denied them of the police blotter.
