PRO9 Regional Director Visits Isabela City Police and ZCPO

PAGADIAN City (July 1, 2020) – “Keep the Zambonaga City and Isabela City a safer place to live, study, to work, visit and do business”, this is the directives of Police Brigadier General Jesus D Cambay, Jr, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 9 to the men and women of Isabela City Police Station (ICPS) and Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) during his command visit to the two police office on June 30 and July 1, 2020..

The Regional Director and his party were welcomed by Police Lieutenant Colonel Homer Dumalag, Isabela City Police Station Chief when they arrived on July 1, 2020 in ICPS ground, Isabela City, Basilan.

PBGEN Cambay, Jr also paid a courtesy call to Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia T Hataman and Rep. Mujib Hataman, congressman of lone district of Basilan. Though under the area of BARMM, the ICPS was placed under the adminitrative supervision and operational control of PRO9 pursuant to NAPOLCOM resolution number 2017-300.

Police Colonel Thomas Joseph I Martir, City Director of ZCPO, welcomed the regional director and his party upon arrival at the ZCPO Headquarters, Zamboanga City on June 30, 2020. PBGEN Cambay Jr. also visited the City's Security Surveillance Coordinating Office (SSCO) Command Center to find out about its 24/7 operations as he was was impressed with the center's performance.

Meanwhile, a command conferences were also conducted at the conference room of the two police offices where the regional director was given updates on the operational and administrative accomplishments of each command including matters on criminality and peace and order.

Among the guidance of the regional director during his talk to men with the two city police offices are:
(1) Intensify target hardening measures in their respective   camp/police stations,
(2) Intensify the conduct of law enforcement operation to eliminate the proliferation of illegal drugs and other form of criminalities in Isabela City and Zamboanga City,
(3) Intensify the PNP enhanced managing police operations (E-MPO), such as steeped up of police visibility and preventive patrol operation to address the safety and security issues and concerns of Isabela City and Zamboanga City.
(4) Maintain close relationship with your AFP counterpart in their respective area of responsibility,
(5) Implement the PNP internal cleansing program and
(6) directed the city director of ICPS and ZCPO to be more proactive and work hard in order to keep Zamboanga Peninsula region a safer place to live, study, to work, visit and do business. (By JONG CADION with press release fromPRO9-PIO)
