PRO9 Holds Traditional New Year’s Call

PAGADIAN CITY (Jan. 9, 2021) Key senior officers of Police Regional Office 9 (PRO9) rendered the traditional New Year’s Call on PRO9 Regional Director Police Brigadier General Ronaldo Genaro E Ylagan at the PRO9 Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp Col. Romeo Abendan, Mercedes, Zamboanga City on Friday, January 8, 2021, PRO9 Public Information Chief PCapt. Edwin A. Duco disclosed.

Other key personnel who were called by the Regional Director includes the PRO9 Regional Division Chiefs (directorial staff), the three Provincial Directors, City Directors of ZCPO, Battalion Commander of the Regional Mobile Forces Battalion 9, Chief of Police of Isabela City Police Station, Chief of the Regional Headquarters Support Group, members of his special and personal staff and Chiefs PNP National Support Units in Region 9, Duco said.

PBGEN Ronaldo Genaro E Ylagan, in his message, thanked the men and women of PRO9 for their hard work and invaluable service that they contributed to PRO9 for the past year. He also reiterrated the Chief PNP’s marching orders and thrust on the campaign on anti-criminality, illegal drugs, terrorism,  and internal cleansing.

The New Year’s Call was followed by a first command conference for 2021 presided over by the regional director held at the PRO9 Headquarters Conference Room, Duco added.

PIO Chief also said that the New Year’s Call is a traditional activity in the PNP organization wherein all PNP members pay courtesy call to their Commanders to manifest courtesy and loyalty to their commander.

The event is a tradition of calling on the Regional Director to express his gratitude for the past year’s accomplishments and at the same time to reaffirm this year’s commitment to the community that the police ought to serves and protect. Duco explained. (By JONG CADION)
