Police generals visit WestMinCom

PAGADIAN CITY (April 15, 2021) - The Deputy Director of the Directorate for Integrated Police Operations, Western Mindanao (DIPO-WM), and the Regional Director of the Police Regional Office-BAR visited the Western Mindanao Command on April 13 and 14, 2021 respectively.

Police Maj. Gen. Nickson Muksan, the Deputy Director of the DIPO-WM paid a courtesy call to WestMinCom Commander Lt. Gen. Corleto Vinluan, Jr. at the Bautista Lounge of the command on Tuesday morning while Police Brig. Gen. Eden Ugale, the Reginal Director of PRO-BAR visited on Wednesday afternoon.

PMaj. Gen. Muksan was welcomed by the officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian human resources at the Parade Ground of Camp Navarro in Calarian, this city.

A company-sized military honors was tendered to the distinguished visitor after which he was received by Lt. Gen. Vinluan, Jr. at the lounge. They were joined by WestMinCom Deputy Commander for Admin Brig. Gen. Antonio Nafarrete and the command staff.

During his visit to the WestMinCom, PMaj. Gen. Muksan was accompanied by his better half Mrs. Merdina Muksan and his staff.

PMaj. Gen. Muksan expressed his gratitude to the WestMinCom family for the warm welcome. He also emphasized the importance of good interagency collaboration and cooperation.

Lt. Gen. Vinluan, Jr. vowed to continuously support the police in all their endeavors especially in the conduct of law enforcement operations.

“Together, let us sustain the peace and order here in Zamboanga City,” said Lt. Gen. Vinluan, Jr.

Meanwhile, PBrig. Gen. Ugale was received by Lt. Gen. Vinluan, Jr., Brig. Gen. Nafarrete and the command staff at the Bautista Lounge at 3 p.m. Wednesday.

A company-sized honors was also tendered by the officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian human resources to the distinguished visitor at the Parade Ground of the Command.

Lt. Gen. Vinluan, Jr. and PBrig. Gen. Ugale discussed the existing security concerns in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region and the best practices that must be sustained to keep the Bangsamoro people safe and secured.
