Police files violation of Cybercrime Law against Lesbian suspect

Suspect arrested for violation of Cybercrime Act
 
PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (Jan. 6, 2015-MPF News) --- The Pagadian City Police had filed to the City Prosecutor’s Office against the Lesbian suspect for violation in Section 6 of Cybercrime Provision Act of 2012 or Republic Act 10175 in the City Prosecutor’s Office Monday morning.

Pagadian City Chief of Police Supt. Glenn Dulawan said the filing of the case was a result of a complaint filed in the police station by the 20-year old lady victim from Lapu-lapu City, Cebu against a lesbian from Pagadian City.

Dulawan in the initial investigation disclosed that the suspect who is using another picture introduced herself in a Facebook account in the name of Mark Jason Castillo y Dueñas who is a Phil-Am and a lawyer residing in Pagadian City.

The suspect and the victim had a relationship in the FB account for more than two months that decided themselves to meet each other after the suspect promise to marry her, the investigation said.

The victim found out that she was swindled after she came to Pagadian City from Cebu on January 2 to meet Atty. Mark Jason Catillo. While at the airports the suspect meet her and introduced herself as the Yaya of Mark Jason Castillo and was told to meet her at the airport and accordingly that Mark Jason Castillo has important appointment but he is waiting her at the Gaisano Mall. But to her dismay there was no Mark Jason Catillo at the mall, the investigation said.

Dulawan added that with the help of the motorcycle driver (Habal-habal) they hired from the airport that was also observing them and had noticed that something wrong with them and decided to help the victim and seek assistance to the police that lead the arrest of the suspect.

Dulawan withheld the name of the victim to protect her while the suspect was identified later as Mary Jane Castillo y Boston. She is now detained temporary at the Police station lock-up cell while after the inquest case filed Monday.
