USJ-R LAUNCHES “SUGAT SA PANTALAN” FOR NEW AND RETURNING STUDENTS

CEBU CITY – All the Students of University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) arriving to Cebu from their respective towns and provinces in Mindanao and the rest of the Visayas via our seaports, particularly Pier 1 (Cokaliong), Pier 3 (Roble, Lite, etc.), Pier 4 (Gothong Southern), the Wessam/SuperCat Terminal and Pier 5 (Trans Asia) will be welcomed at the pier by a representative of the Religious Administration, the Security and Safety Department and the Supreme Student Council.

Through their school buses and coasters, will be ferried all the students for free to the main campus where they continue the travel to their respective homes, unless they live in an area where the bus will pass through, in which case the students can ask to be dropped off. 

Four USJ-R buses and one coaster, which are all duly marked and come with attention-catching tarpaulin signs, will be at above-mentioned piers waiting for the students to arrive from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. of June 3, 4 and 5, 2013

This is the school’s way of welcoming their students and of making sure that they were well taken cared of upon arriving, taking into account how the Port of Cebu is at its busiest and most chaotic during the run-up to the formal opening of classes, the notice said send by Karlon N. Rama.
