DAPITAN, Zamboanga del Norte (July 25, 2915) --- Miss Dapitan City candidate number 6 Sheena Mae Zaldivar was chosen as the beauty queen during the Coronation Night of Miss Dapitan City 2015 Thursday night held at Gloria de Dapitan.

There are 10 lovely canditates competing for their beauty and talent during the annual beauty pageant following the  Kinabayo Festival 2015.

The chosen first runner up was candidate number 3 Zaira Claire Tolentino while candidate number 7 Ana Rose Tee was the 2nd runner up.

In related development, the Organizer of Miss Dapitan City Beauty Pageant  gave a posthumous award to Marie Antonette “Maan” Acedo during the search Friday night at the Gloria de Dapitan. Maan was the First runner up of Miss Dipolog City 2015 and she is one of the 10 candidates of Miss Dapitan City 2015.

She was confined at the hospital after last July 14 due to stomach pain and was declared dead by her attending physician July 17.

Her last participation in the Miss Dapitan City 2015 was the pictorial of candidates in Dakak last July 12.

According to her companion in the pageant, Maan was surprised why she was experiencing some bleeding.

The mother while cleaning Maan’s room had discovered some pills that prompted her to bring it to Maan’s doctor at the hospital for verification and later found out as slimming pills.

It was confirmed from Maan that she bought the slimming pills from online and had already consumed more than 30 pills at 4 pills daily.
