ASG surrenders to government troops in Basilan

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (October 07, 2016) - An Abu Sayyaf member surrendered Wednesday afternoon to troops of the Joint Task Force Basilan Province, Southern Philippines, military official said.

Western Mindanao Command (WesMinCom) Spokesperson Maj. Filemon Tan Jr. disclosed that Murajin Salahudin, a.k.a Mimie, a member of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) under Furuji Indama and Radzmil Janatul, surrendered to the troops of the 64th Infantry Battalion in Barangay Tumahubong, Sumisip, Basilan.

Maj. Tan said, Salahudin also surrendered a Garand rifle with two (2) clips of ammunition.
