ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR (July 2, 2019) – The new officials in the province of Zamboanga del Sur had their first flag raising ceremony ‘in high spirits’ as they begin their first day of assumption to office on Monday.

Led by Governor Victory Yu, the first flag raising at the provincial capitol grounds was attended by employees and the ten (10) of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan members from the two districts of the province.

In the ceremony, Congw. Divina Grace Yu of the 1st District and Cong. Leonardo Babasa of the 2nd District both expressed their gratitude to Zambosurians for their solid support to the team which gave them landslide victory during the 2019 midterm polls.

Before the ceremony ended, Gov. Yu also extended his thankfulness to the people and laid down plans for the progress of the province where everyone can enjoy its benefits and privileges.

One of the primary agenda mentioned by the governor was the importance of the Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center where he promised to do all efforts to cater the needs of the said hospital.

Gov. Yu also encouraged the provincial employees to be committed in their job in serving the people and vowed to establish a fair and accessible type of leadership.

In the end, Yu inspired the capitol employees to treat his administration as a happy and united family.(By JONG CADION with PR from Prov’l Press Bureau)
