CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (July 14, 2017 PNA) – Few days after arriving in the
city, the CMO Joint Task Group “Tabang” (JTG “Tabang”) started meeting with
various key personalities to assess the extent of affectation that needs to be
addressed.
Colonel
Thomas Sedano Jr, Commander of the JTG “Tabang” called for a meeting on
Wednesday (July 12) at the provincial capitol to discuss the conduct of
visitation and inspection to the evacuation centers in 2nd District of Lanao
del Sur.
Major
Jeffrex G. Molina, OIC, Public Affairs Task Unit, CMO Task Group “Tabang”, said
that the meeting was joined by the PNP Lanao Del Sur provincial director,
deputy commanders of JTG “Ranao” and JTG “Haribon”, other officers of the TG “Tabang”,
and Ms Maharlanny S Alonto, the director of the provincial social welfare
office.
“We
shall start working so we can accomplish more. We need to see the condition of
our people at the evacuation centers for us to assess their immediate concerns
so all of us can address them immediately,” states Col Sedano.
Major
Molina said that JTG “Tabang” has been visiting various evacuation centers to
dialogue with the people. The unit also assists the local agencies in the
relief and humanitarian operations to help the displaced families since its
arrival few days ago.
