PAGADIAN CITY (March 15, 2019) – The Drugs Enforcement Unit of
Zamboanga City Police Office seized closed to Php7.1 Million worth of illegal
drugs from big time drug pusher during drug buy bust operation at Wingo Drive,
Pantano, Brgy. San Roque, Zamboanga City at about 3:00 PM of March 14, 2019,
police official disclosed.
Police
Brigadier General Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the
arrested drug suspect as Ricky Hassan y Hamis, 35 years old, male, married,
elementary level, jobless and resident of said above-mentioned place.
Confiscated
from his possession were Twenty One (21) large sachets of suspected shabu with
an estimated street value 7,140,000 pesos and 199 boodle bills of 1,000 pesos
and One (1) genuine bill of 1,000 pesos as marked money.
The arrested
suspect will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 while the evidence
recovered were turned over to the PNP Crime Laboratory for examination. He is
presently detained at Zamboanga City Police Office Headquarters for inquest.
