‘Tabak’ division recruiting soldiers

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur, Feb. 7 (PNA) -- The Philippine Army’s First Infantry “Tabak” Division based in nearby Labangan town is recruiting applicants into the military service.

Capt. Franco Salvador Suelto, First Infantry Division information officer, said interested applicants must have the following qualifications: 18- 26 years old; at least high school graduate; at least five feet in height; have taken the Philippine Army Aptitude Test Battery (PAATB) with the score of at least 80; without any obvious physical deformities such as tattoo, ear piercing, penile implant, etc; single and has never sired a child; and, with a good moral character.

Suelto advised all interested and qualified applicants to register and attend the pre-screening process from February 16-17 at the division headquarters in Barangay Upper Pulacan, Labangan, this province.

Suelto said they should also bring with them the following documents: National Statistics Office-issued Birth Certificate with Official Receipt; Diploma and Form 137 (for High School graduates) or Transcript of Records (College level/Graduate); and PAATB Result.
