NO ONE HURT IN BOMB EXPLOSION AT GAISANO PAGADIAN CITY

PAGADIAN CITY, ZamboSur – The Improvised Explosion Device (IED) exploded at the parking area of Gaisano Capital in Pagadian City at about 3:30 this afternoon. No one is reported hurt, Police Deputy Prov’l Director P/Supt. Jalilul Bandahala told AFP News.

The still unidentified suspects used 81mm mortal as their improvised explosive device and two-way radio transceiver Motorola as their trigger device were placed inside the Automobile Toyota Corola color white with plate number MNC 785.

The vehicle had been parked inside the parking area at the back of Gaisano Capital Mall along Pulmones Avenue, Brgy. San Pedro, Pagadian City when the explosion occurred.



Pastor Romeo Cube Bara of Baptist Church, the owner of Isuzu Highlander parked beside the exploded Toyota Corola was also partially damaged. He further said that at exactly 12:00 noon no other vehicle parked at the area and at about 2:00 pm the Fortuner was the first one to park followed by the Toyota Corola located at  the middle and while they were inside the mall they heard the explosion.

The Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) recovered the slug of the 81mm mortal together with the trigger device with 12 volts battery and other parts of the IED.

As of the press time the police authorities still conducting the investigation to determine the responsible perpetrators and also to identify the owner of the vehicle.
