PAGADIAN CITY (Sept. 17, 2018) - At around 1:36pm Sunday,
the three released Indonesian hostages were formally turned over by WestMinCom
Commander Lieutenant General Arnel B. Dela Vega to His Excellency Dr. Sinyo
Harry Sarundajang, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Philippines.
Hamdam
Salim, Subandi Sattuh, and Sudarlan Samansung, accompanied by the Indonesian
Ambassador and the Indonesian Army Attache, were leaving leave for Manila Sunday
afternoon.
His
Excellency Sarundajang expressed his gratitude to the AFP through the Western
Mindanao Command for the efforts exerted that resulted to the safe release of
the hostages.
“We
give our assurance that we will always be of assistance for the common interest
of our country and the Indonesian government,” said WestMinCom Chief Lieutenant
