WestMinCom Chief dons rank to newly-promoted senior officer

 PAGADIAN CITY (March 9, 2021) - A newly-promoted senior officer of the Western Mindanao Command received his new insignia in a ceremony held in Zamboanga City on Monday afternoon, March 8, 2021.

Western Mindanao Command Chief Lt. Gen. Corleto Vinluan, Jr., donned the new rank badge to Col. Yasser Bara, one of the Command Staff.

The simple ceremony held at the Bautista Lounge of the Command was graced by the presence of WestMinCom’s Deputy Commander for Admin Brig. Gen. Antonio Nafarrete, Chief of Unified Command Staff Col. Elmer Suderio, Assistant Chief of Unified Command Staff for Operations Col. Ismael Mandanas, Jr., Assistant Chief of Unified Command Staff for Communications, Electronics, and Information Systems Col. Lambert Jonathan Gesolgon, and other officers and civilian human resources.

In his message, Lt. Gen. Vinluan, Jr. congratulated Col. Bara for achieving a new milestone in his military career.

“This is just the beginning of your colorful journey as you climb the military ladder,” said Lt. Gen. Vinluan, Jr.

Meanwhile, Col. Bara extended his gratitude to Lt. Col. Vinluan, Jr. for his constant support and encouragement.
