Dole 2014 livelihood program budget for ZamboSur in creases

PAGADIAN CITY, ZAMBOSUR (Frontline News Dec. 27, 2013) – The Department of Labor and Employment 2014 budget for Zamboanga del Sur increased especially on the DOLE-Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP).

DOLE-Zamboanga del Sur Chief Lourdes B. Amores told PNA the increase of budget is beneficial to those who would like to avail the DILP for group livelihood projects or individual livelihood.

DILP 2014 budget had increased to 4.9 million pesos from 2.4 million pesos in 2013.

The budget for Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) had also increased to 8.4 million pesos from 7.9 million in 2013, DOLE Chief Amores disclosed. 
Zamboanga del Sur DOLE Chief also pointed out that the increase is part of the regular budget of the department for 2014.

“Other than our regular budget for 2014, DOLE Zamboanga del Sur got also a budget from the Priority Development Assistance Funds (PDAF) in the amount of 8.4 million pesos. These budgets are intended for Emergency Employment Program and Government Internship Program (GIP),” Amores added.

Amores also would like to inform the public that her office is now in need of interested applicants for GIP on January 2014. Please process your application as soon as possible at the DOLE Provincial Office located along F. S. Pajares Avenue, San Jose District, Pagadian City, She said.

Those will be hired in the GIP will be receiving of not less than or 75 percent of the minimum wage, she ended.
