AusAID allocates P11-M for road rehab project in Misamis Occidental

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur, Nov. 29 (PNA) -- The Australian government through the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) has allocated P11 million to finance a road rehabilitation project in nearby Misamis Occidental province.

Director Sanivier Patoc, of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) in Misamis Occidental, said Saturday the project will cover a six-kilometer stretch of the Malibangcao-Guba-Sabasi provincial road in Clarin, Misamis Occidental.

Patoc said the project is up for bidding next month.

Patoc said the project, once implemented, is expected to be completed within six months.

He said the completion of the project will boost the delivery of basic services in the town of Clarin, a 4th class municipality of Misamis Occidental.

Patoc said the road project will also boost the transport of farm products to the markets. (PNA)
