Zambo Sur Guv inducted new officers of ZPPI

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (Dec.15, 2014-MPF News) --- Zamboanga del sur Governor Antonio “Tony” H. Cerilles inducted the new set of officers of Zamboanga del Sur-Pagadian City Press Club Inc. (ZPPI) for 2015 held at the Butterfly Garden, Provincial Government  Center and Sports Complex in Barangay Dao, this city Saturday night.

The elected ZPPI officers for 2015 are as follows: President Marivie “Maimai” Jongco of Radyo Bagting DXBZ-DXCA AM/FM and Provincial Information Officer; Vice President Analiza “Ann” Lu from Pagadian Times; Secretary Liberal “Levy” Cabatcha, Information Officer of ZAMSURECO-1; Treasurer Charnyl Albarracin of Hardline News Weekly; Auditor Manny Maulana of DXID-AM; PIO Hirohito “Jong” D. Cadion, correspondent 9News TV Philippines and Philippine News Agency (PNA); Board of Directors: Gedion “Jun” Corgue of Philippine Information Agency (PIA); Victor “Vic” del pilar, Hardline News Weekly; Leah Agonoy, Pagadian City Press Bureau; Ellen Ajijul, correspondent GMA7; Christorey Ramones of City Star and Sherwin Lu, Pagadian Times.

Cerilles was also the guest of honor during the joint induction of officers and Christmas Party of ZPPI was conducted immediately in the evening following the Election of officers held at Zamboanga del Sur Electric Cooperative-1 (ZAMSURECO-1) Function Hall during the 9^th Annual General Assembly Saturday morning with total 68 members.

Cerilles said being one of the pioneering members of the press club and at the same time accredited member of Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) is also very proud to be a member of the press club up to the present.

Governor Cerilles together with his wife as the 2^nd District Representative Aurora E. Cerilles assured the members of the 4^th State of their supports to the passage of Freedom of Information (FOI) Bill.
