Interfaith holds symposium on BBL in Pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur, Dec. 9 (PNA) -– The Pagadian City-Zamboanga del Sur Interfaith Forum Solidarity for Peace is spearheading a symposium on the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) in this city.

The symposium started at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the gymnasium of Saint Columban College.

Sultan Maguid Maruhom, Interfaith Muslim Convenor, said the symposium is aimed to inform the participants the content of the proposed BBL.

About 1,000 students and young professionals are attending the symposium with Maruhom as the resource speaker.

The symposium on the proposed BBL was supposed to be held last week as part of the Mindanao Week for Peace celebration but was rescheduled to Tuesday. (PNA)
