Only 17-year old student out of 36 players got champion in 3-point shootout challenge

Louie Jay Hayag Canillo 17 years old got the highest score againts 36 players who join the shootout competition.


BAROY Lanao del Norte - The Barangay Poblacion Municipality of Baroy Lanao del Norte launch its own 3 point shootout challenge which part of their very own PBBL (Poblacion Baroy Basketball League).

The champion, Louie Jay Hayag Canillo 17 years old got the highest score againts 36 players who join the competition. He is an student of Santo NiƱo Academy of Baroy Inc.

In exclusive interview of news team,Louie Jay said,"since birth basketball naana jud nas akong life. Akoy eldest sa among managsuon, dili man pud hadlang sa akong pag skwela kay nagtarong man sad ko sa pag-skwela, honor roll man pud ko sa among school.”

Initiated by Sanguniang Bayan Member Edwin Ong and Pob.Brgy Chairman Ryan Basalo and SK Chairman John Clyde Alvia with the support of Sanguniang Barangay the event turn succesful and lot of people and players participated and they are happy watching the event. It was a history in Poblacion Baroy that PBBL and 3 point shootout challenge was held.

"Hindi namin ito makakalimutan sa buong buhay namin na may ganitong laro na inumpisahan  nila. Mananatili ito sa puso namin.Magandang umpisa ito para sa amin at sa aming mga anak.' one of the expectators said.(Mike Navarro)
