PAGADIAN
CITY (Jan 8, 2019) - Two high
value drug personalities were arrested by combined elements of PDEA Regional
Office 9, Zamboanga City, PDEA Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Office, Provincial
Intelligence Branch (PIB) - Zamboanga Del Sur Police Office and Zamboanga City
Police Station 11 during drug buy-bust operation (High Impact Operation) at
Room 146, La Terraza Pension Haus, Gov. Camins, Canelar, Zamboanga City at
about 11:30 AM of January 7, 2019.
Police Chief Superintendent Emmanuel
Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the arrested suspects as:
Merlyn Aliasman Y Sarahuddil, Female,
28 years old, married housewife, a residence of Barangay Lubigan, Zamboanga
City,
Joel Hernando, Male, 31 years old,
married, truckman and a residence of Upper Clarian, Zamboanga City and
Isa Munap Y Hawari, male, 28 years old,
married, jobless, a residence of Barangay Lubigan, Zamboanga City.
Confiscated during the operation were
the following:
eleven (11) heat-sealed transparent
plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu
more or less 500 grams worth Three-million four-hundrerd thousand pesos (Php3,400,000.00),
nine (9) bundles of boodle money topped
with one (1) genuine subscribed Php1,000.00 bill with serial no. AY044448
utilized as buy-bust money,
one (1) brown paper bag used as
container of the suspected shabu,
One (1) blue striped paper bag used to
contain the buy-bust money,
One (1) black and white Samsung
cellular phone and
One (1) black with orange Samsung
cellular phone.
Cases for violation of Sec. 5 in
relation to Sec. 26 and Section 11, Article II, of RA 9165 are being readied
for filing in court against the suspects.
Arrested suspects immediately brought
to PDEA Regional Office 9, Zamboanga City for documentation and proper
