PAGADIAN CITY,
Zamboanga del Sur, Jan. 16 (PNA) -- The Misamis Occidental Electric
Cooperative, Incorporated-1 (MOELCI-1) has scheduled a two-day power
interruption to pave way for the needed maintenance works.
MOELCI-1 general
manager Ruben Bonalos said Friday the schedule of power interruption is from 6
a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday (January 17) until Sunday (January 18).
Bonalos said the
scheduled power interruption is to pave way for the retirement and removal of
dilapidated poles and installation of new ones as well as stringing of bare
wires.
Specifically, Bonalos
said the power interruption on Saturday will affect MOELCI-1 Feeder 2 (F2V)
along Oroquieta City North District towards Lopez Jaena town in the
north-western part of Misamis Occidental.
He said the power
interruption on Sunday will affect the electrical services at MOELCI-1 Feeder 1
(F1V) along Oroquieta City South District towards Aloran town in the eastern
part of the province and parts of F2V area.
He said they set the
scheduled on weekend since there will be less transactions that will be
affected since most of the offices are close and there are no classes. (PNA)
