Army’s Premier Division Commemorates 116th Phil Army Anniversary

Happy 116th Anniversary Philippine Army

PAGADIAN CITY – The Philippine Army’s Premier Infantry (TABAK) Division to include its subordinate units will commemorate today March 22, 2013 the 116th Philippine Army Anniversary at Kampo Major Cesar L. Sang-an, Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboana del Sur with a theme… “Serving the people and Securing the Land.”

The anniversary commemoration will be done in austere but memorable manner by having a simultaneous flag raising ceremony at 7:30 in the morning led by its Division Commander, Major General Ricardo Rainier Cruz III at the Division Headquarters and other units under this division at their respective headquarters.

Other activities during the anniversary include a photo and static display at Gaisano Mall in Pagadian City, bloodletting at Brgy. Pikalawag, Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao Norte and display of Tarpulin at selected places.

Likewise the Brigades and Battalions will conduct MEDCAP and other Civil Military Operations related activities at respective area of operations with the civilian populace.

This activity intends to show and inform the general public that their Philippine Army is now on its 116th year of serving the people and in securing the integrity of the land and the sovereignty of the Filipino people. (With reports from DPAO)
