DAPITAN CITY, Zamboanga del Norte, July 25 (PNA) -– Raquel Lea Jade Trozzi, a nursing student representing the Dapitan City Water District, has been crowned as Miss Dapitan City 2014.

The Miss Dapitan City 2014 beauty pageant is one of the activities of this year’s “Kinabayo Festival” that will culminate Friday, July 25, the feast day of St. James The Greater, the patron saint of this city.

Trozzi was also named as Miss Congeniality during the coronation Wednesday night held here.

Following Trozzi as the first runners-up is Heza Mae Lunjas, who represented the mayor’s office. She also received special award as Best in Casual Wear.

The second runners-up is Aice Zel Maghinay who also received special award as Best in Gown. She represented the first congressional district office of this province.

Mayor Rosalina Jalosjos was elated over the successful conduct of the search for Miss Dapitan City 2014 as she noted the continuous support of the residents to the beauty pageant.

On the other hand, Jet Nicole Inding, Miss Dapitan City 2013, expressed her gratitude to the local government for the opportunity given her to serve this city especially in the promotion of its tourism industry. (PNA)
