Go will carry the image of City Patron St. James from its place inside the church to the main door and from the main door Dapitan City Mayor Rosalina Jalosjos and Randy B. Cabasag will be carrying the image to the corner of City Hall Drive and along Justice F. Saguin Street then Commo. Cirilo C. Saldon and company will receive the image and carry it to the old chapel of Senior Santiago and finally place it to the prepared Carrosa and the LOA will follow, the City Tourism said.

Zamboanga del Sur (July 16, 2014-MPF News) --- The Diocese of Dipolog St. James The
Greater Parish in Dapitan City
in nearby Zamboanga del Norte province
is celebrating their Religious Fiesta Activities of Patron St. James the
Kinabayo Festival celebration, Dapitan City Tourism Official said.

Officer Apple Marie Agolong said that the weeklong celebration of Religious
Fiesta Activities started early Wednesday morning July 16, 2014 at 4:00 AM with
Diana and Recorida around the city. It will be followed by Jornada/Parada sa
Patron at 5:00 PM, then the Novena at 5:30 PM, Holy Mass Cebuano at 6:00 PM
“Patunob” and “Pahalok sa Reliquias” every afternoon from July 16 to 24.
She added that the
City Government through the City Tourism Office will conduct the Fiesta sa
Nayon every after Novena offering snacks native delicacies for church goers outside
the church at the City Plaza.
On July 24 in the
morning will be the Vesper Activities through a Holy Mass Cebuano at 5:30AM and
7:30AM followed by the “Pahalok sa Reliquias” and “Patunob” at 8:30AM, Agolong

In the afternoon activities
at 1:00PM will be the Holy Mass (Baptism, Confirmation and Matrimony) then
followed by the procession at 4:00PM from the Church going around to the major
city streets then back to the church for the last day of Novena and the Holy
Mass Cebuano at 5:30PM and 6:00 in the evening.
And finally on July 25
will be the City Fiesta Celebration with three Holy Mass Cebuano versions at
4:00 AM, 5:30AM and 7:00AM. Holy Mass English will follow at 8:30 AM,
Pontifical Mass Cebuano at 10:00AM and another two Holy Mass Cebuano at 4:00PM
and 5:30PM, she said.
On July 28 at 11:00AM
the Post-Feast Day activities will be the Retirando”(Paghipos sa Patron sulod
sa Simbahan).
