PAGADIAN CITY,
Zamboanga del Sur, (July 21 MPF News) -– The 3D Movers from Lanao del Norte
bagged the Php25,000 cash prize plus a trophy as it bested the other 14 groups
of contestants in the Hip-Hop Invitational Competition Sunday evening in
Dapitan City.
City Tourism Officer
Apple Marie Agolong said Monday that the competition is part of the activities
in this year’s “Kinabayo Festival” that will culminate July 25, the feast day
of the St. James The Greater, the patron saint of Dapitan City.

Following second to
the 3D Movers is the Sexy Bords from Zamboanga City, and third, the Mix Stylers
from Pagadian City that bagged Php17,000 and Php8,000 cash prizes, respectively,
plus trophies.

Gensan Hip-Hop Dancers, which is the Hip-Hop National Champion, attended the
competition as guests.

The different
activities for the “Kinabayo Festival” kicked-off last July 11.
On
the other hand, Dapitan City Chief of Police Supt. Divin Hamo Ceriales had
strictly implemented security measures during the Kinabayo Festival activities
Supt.
Ceriales also assured the visiting public of their safety while enjoying in
their staying in Dapitan City.
