PAGADIAN CITY (Oct. 30, 2018) – The combined
elements of PDEA- Regional Office 9 and Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO)arrested
illegal drug suspect during the conduct of a buy-bust operation (High Impact
Operation) at Barangay San Jose Gusu, Zamboanga City on October 30, 2018 at
about 6:30pm, police official said.
Police
Regional Office 9 PIO Chief PCINSP Helen L. Galvez disclosed that the operating
team identified the arrested suspect as Jessi Hassim y Borro a.k.a “Jan-Jan
Usman y Barry,” of legal age and listed as the High Value Target Drug
Personality in Zamboanga Peninsula.
Galvez
said that the operating team confiscated from the suspect during the operation
were one big heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white
crystalline substance believed to be shabu more or less 500-grams worth
Php3,400,000, one bundle of boodle money worth Php640,000.00 utilized as
buy-bust money, one blue and black Suzuki Raider bearing plate no. 7993 JI and
one ignition key.
Galvez
added that a case for violation of Section 5, Article II, of RA 9165 is being
readied for filing in court against the suspect. Said subject person presently
